One of the most trusted brands in the online payment industry, PayPal has just announced its release of PayPal Here―a new service that allows home-based and other small business, business opportunity and franchise owners to receive virtually any form of payment from just about anywhere. Using a triangular-shaped, encrypted card reader that attaches to a smartphone, small businesses can now send invoices and accept debit and all major credit cards, checks and PayPal payments safely and securely.
While a number of other companies have been offering mobile payment options for quite some time, PayPal’s recent statement assures business owners that its new service offers “more choice than any mobile payment solution on the market today.” Furthermore, the company asserts that PayPal Here “offers a competitive fee structure with no monthly account or set-up fees.”
PayPal has also announced the release of a new version of its PayPal Mobile app for the iPhone, which complements PayPal Here and enables customers to find nearby businesses that accept the service.
