Fiverr - how to get reviews

Fiverr.com is a fun way to make some extra cash, regardless of what product or services you can offer. Everybody can make money on Fiverr, but the tricky part is to start if your account is new. The problem is that customers are unlikely to buy your products or services if you have no reviews. Hence, the paradox is: in order to get reviews, you already have to have your gigs positively reviewed by other users. This article will show you two easy ways to get your gigs reviewed on Fiverr.

Get reviews on Fiverr - Black Hat way

So how do you get this ball rolling? You will have to invest a couple bucks into this, but it will be worth it when you do. So, in order to get positive reviews when you're new to the site is to create multiple accounts and buy your own gig through them. Luckily, Fiverr doesn't mind multiple accounts, because that's the way they earn money. For every $5 spent you'll get $4 back. Let Fiverr keep $1, you'll get it back soon enough when the customers start buying your gigs! It's easy - just buy your own gig a couple of times and you'll attract customers who get you your invested money back.

Get your gigs reviewed - White Hat way

Once you have a couple of fake reviews, you'll begin getting real gigs. Now, the challenge is to make them want to leave a positive review after you delivered your product or service. There is a couple of ways how to accomplish this:
  • Provide high quality products or services. Don't make anybody suspect that you're a scammer.
  • Over-deliver. If your gig consists in writing 4 articles, offer only 3 articles and then give them one extra. If you offer link building services, always build more than you offer. You get the idea? Your buyer needs to be pleasantly surprised with your services and feel grateful for the fact that you were willing to go this extra mile.
  • Ask for what you want. When you complete the gig, ask politely the satisfied customer to write a few words on your gig page. If he or she does not, send a friendly reminder - sometimes they don't mean to ignore your request, but they read it in the middle of something and then they just forget.
  • Comment on a review written by your customer and say that it was great to work with him. Say how good the buyer is and why you enjoyed working for him. Very often doing so would encourage the buyer to buy your gig again in the future.
